Life Chain of South Brevard County, Florida
(Melbourne, West Melbourne, Palm Bay, and the beaches)

Updated September 25, 2009

Exciting News! Life Chain South Brevard has a new website. Please visit at www.lifechainbrevard.com
The new site will have the most current information on Life Chain Sunday 2009 in Melbourne, Florida. We'll phase out this website soon. Thank you to the web master who created this Life Chain site to bring awareness of life chains to east Florida.

A big "Thank you! for everyone who participated in the 2008 year's Life Chain! Preliminary tally showed about 450 people coming out to show our support for the unborn. That's down a little from last year, but with the heavy rain in the morning that's a pretty good showing.

The Life Chain of South Brevard County, Florida, will be held again on Sunday, October 4, 2009, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. We will, as always, gather on U.S. 192 in Melbourne to silently, prayerfully, and peacefully show our support for the innocent unborn babies. Hundreds of Life Chains are held on the same day across the nation with thousands coming out to support the unborn. For this one special hour, we put aside any political, ethnic, and denominational differences we may have, in order to concentrate on what unites us, namely our support for God's innocent unborn babies and their mothers. So come join us October 4, 2009!

We have an approximately 5-mile chain mapped out through the heart of Melbourne's busiest thoroughfare, New Haven Avenue (U.S. 192). We are hoping to make this year's Life Chain bigger than ever. Participants are reminded that this is a peaceful, prayerful, and silent activity. Please maintain a quiet vigil and do not respond to hecklers. Thank you and God bless your efforts.

Congratulations to the ten churches that have demonstrated enough past support or enough pledged participants to qualify for their own sections of the Life Chain! Life Chain participants from these churches should click on the map icons above their church in the following (west-to-east) table to find their designated locations. Those from other churches should join the Life Chain in the vicinity of the Melbourne Square Mall. Maps will open in a new browser window.
